Membership
Membership in the Independent Sportsmen’s Club is open to all. NRA membership is a requirement and the possession of some form of Massachusetts firearms ID is encouraged. Applicants are urged to join GOAL (Gun owners Action League of Massachusetts) but that is not a requirement for club membership.
Membership Fees
There are three types of members. Juniors, age 17 or younger. General, age 18-59, and Senior, age 60 and older.
Junior membership is $10 per year, plus a one time initiation fee of $5.
General membership is $155 per year, plus a one time initiation fee of $100.
Senior membership is $115 per year, plus a one time initiation fee of $100.
The General and Senior membership fees are prorated based upon the month when the application is made. When applying for membership, please contact a club representative to determine the exact fee.
Membership renewal invoices are sent in December, and all members are due for renewal as of January 1st.
There is a "work hours" program where members can volunteer their time over the course of the year. Members may receive a $5 per hour credit for up to 5 hours of time volunteered. Members receiving renewal invoices for the first of the year, will see up to a $25 credit for their service volunteered during the prior year.

Applications are processed once a month at the Board of Directors meeting that is held on the third Tuesday of each month.
